Jet Substructure in Heavy-Ion Collisions
Supervisor: Wilke van der Schee
This project aims to develop a model of medium modifications to jet substructure. Building on Trajectum's hydrodynamic evolution and vacuum parton showers embedded in a quark–gluon plasma, it will introduce a simple energy-loss prescription and study its effects on the Soft Drop groomed splitting function and jet shapes.
